East African Resident Rates: Sanctuary entry fees in Taita Hills are specifically for East African residents (ID required). Non-residents will incur a different fee.
Health: Consult your doctor for malaria prophylaxis and other recommended vaccinations for Kenya.
Accessibility: This tour involves significant driving on varied terrain. Some lodges may have stairs. Please advise us of any specific mobility needs.

Jan-March and July-Oct for dry, good game viewing. Nov-Dec is short rains; April-May is long rains.

Depart Nairobi early morning for Tsavo East National Park, famous for its 'red elephants' and the Lugard Falls. Enjoy an afternoon game drive exploring the vast plains, searching for lion, leopard, cheetah, and other plains game. Arrive at your camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Tsavo East to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in Tsavo East as you head towards Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Check into your lodge, often positioned over waterholes, offering continuous game viewing. Afternoon game drive in the conservancy, with an optional thrilling night game drive to spot nocturnal animals.

Full Day in Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Spend a full day exploring the diverse Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, visiting different sections of the conservancy. The sanctuary is known for its high concentration of wildlife and varied habitats. Return to the lodge for sundowners and dinner.

Day 4: Departure from Taita Hills to Nairobi
